Thamesview Camping

Fantastic site. Nature all around and very peaceful. The site has been set up beautifully, each pitch is a huge circle of cut grass, with walkways all around. Usually at standard campsites I get frustrated with knowing where to walk or am I walking though someone else’s pitch. So this really makes the site that much more relaxing, as you have longer grass boarders around your pitch. Also each pitch has it’s own table and bench and a big fire pit (logs can be brought with online payment so no need for cash), plus they have grills to use across the fire pit for the real back to basic cooking in the wild.

There are double toilets all the way up the field so no worries about being far from the loo wherever u pitch. The loos are compost, don’t smell at all and are always looking clean. The showers are lovely and big with a chair and big mirror. They have an outside sink areas one side for men and the other women, the detail they’ve put into this really stands out.

Even though the campsite looks basic they haven’t left out detail which really makes the whole greener experience slightly luxury.

I would highly recommend this this site and will definitely be going back.
